The Congo Brazzaville Stadium complex encompasses a comprehensive range of facilities, including a 60,000-seat main stadium with accompanying training grounds, a 2,000-seat aquatic center, and a 10,000-seat indoor gymnasium. Supporting infrastructure features road networks, landscaping, parking lots, and the surrounding municipal pipeline systems. With a total contract value of US$558 million, this large-scale project served as the core venue for the 11th All-Africa Games held in 2015.
Beyond its functional role in hosting major sporting events, the stadium has evolved into a prominent national landmark of the Republic of the Congo (Brazzaville), symbolizing the country’s development and sporting aspirations. In recognition of its exceptional construction quality and engineering standards, the project was awarded the prestigious Luban Award for National Quality Projects by the China Construction Industry Association in October 2016. This accolade underscores the project’s excellence in design, construction, and overall execution.
