Griglia in alluminio
Aluminum grating is formed by extruding and locking standard aluminum bars and rods via equipment. It features no deformation or discoloration under normal service conditions, along with strong weather resistance, excellent corrosion resistance, good heat dissipation performance, maintenance-free operation, and a long service life.
As an alternative to steel grating, aluminum grating is made from 6063 aluminum alloy, whose main alloying elements are magnesium and silicon. Owing to its elemental and structural properties, aluminum grating not only possesses load-bearing capacity comparable to that of steel grating but also boasts many properties that steel grating lacks. These include superior corrosion resistance, good electroplating performance, light weight, and an attractive appearance. Aluminum grating products are highly standardized, with strict and precise dimensional control, enabling convenient and efficient installation. Compared with traditional construction techniques, the use of aluminum grating can significantly reduce on-site construction time while greatly enhancing construction quality and project aesthetics.
Classification of Aluminum Grating
Rectangular Swaged Aluminum Grating
Standard aluminum grating is the most commonly used model among aluminum grating products. It is made of flat aluminum and square aluminum through extrusion process at a certain spacing. It has the characteristics of no welding points, firm connection, light weight, high strength, low energy consumption and corrosion resistance.
According to different anti-slip requirements, it can be divided into plain surface aluminum grating and serrated aluminum grating.

I Bar Swaged Aluminum Grating
As the name implies, the cross-section of the I bar aluminum grating is in the shape of an “I” shape, and the upper and lower surfaces are treated with wire teeth, which enhances the product’s own anti-slip performance. At the same time, it has the same load-bearing capacity as the standard aluminum grating, but the material is lighter and more cost-effective. In addition, the 11.1mm ultra-small pitch can provide special protection for wheelchairs and high heels, and is mainly used in garden landscapes, trails, public facilities and other fields.

T Bar Swaged Aluminum Grating
T bar aluminum grating has a larger support area. This design increases the contact surface of the product surface, greatly improving the comfort of stepping. The surface line tooth treatment also makes the anti-slip more significant. The minimum surface gap can reach 2mm. We provide various spacings, including spacings that comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Press-Locked Aluminum Grating
The plug-in/press-lock aluminum grating is flush with the crossbar, increasing the contact area. The flat aluminum and crossbar are precisely slotted and hydraulically pressed together to form a tight lock, with greater load-bearing capacity than conventional aluminum grating. The grating is available in a variety of spacings to provide 1/4″ or 1/2″ openings in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (July 1991). The plug-in/press-lock aluminum grating is another excellent choice for architectural decoration products with its beautiful appearance and secure connection. Non-slip and serrated surfaces are available.
